Pikeville own Trinity Rowe wins the 2024 Kentucky Miss Basketball

(Lexington, KY) Tonight in Lexington, KY one of 16 Kentucky High School girls basketball athlete will find out if she is Miss Basketball winner for the 2023-2024 Kentucky High School basketball sports season.

 

Pikeville own Trinity Rowe was one of the candidate for Miss Basketball. Trinity will continue her athletic and academic career at Southern Mississippi University.

 

Trinity this season averaged 16.2 points per game, shooting 186-373 from the field for 49.9%. 85-211 from the three for 40.3%. Shooting from the free throw line 44-49 for 89.8%. While grading down 86 rebounds.

 

Trinity Rowe and the Pikeville Lady Panthers ended there season in Lexington, KY at the Mingua Beef Jerky Girls' Basketball Sweet 16 Tournament with a lose to Bethlehem (Bardstown, Ky) by the score of 56-49. Pikeville finished the season with a 27-6 overall record, 13-0 record in the 15th Region, and 5-0 inside the 59th District. 

 

Any athlete with this a big honor being honored with being a candidate of being one of the biggest honors in the state of Kentucky and across the United States. 

 

After a senior season, that saw everything from clutch moments to heartbreaks and record-breaking moment. On February 11th (Trinity Rowe Day) will mean a little bit more in the city of Coal Run. On that day she was a nominee for the McDonalds All-American Game.

 

During her time at Pikeville, Rowe is become Pikeville's All time leading scorer and all time leader in 3-pointers made and just the fifth player in Kentucky Girls' High School Basketball history to record 1,000 career assists.
