Candice Williams was untouchable in the circle on Thursday, leading Jackson County to a dominant 6-0 victory over Knox Central.

Williams struck out a staggering 15 batters in seven innings of work, surrendering only one hit and walking none. Her pitching masterpiece paved the way for Jackson County's comfortable win.

Blakelynn Fee provided the offensive spark for the Lady Generals, collecting three hits on the day.

Jackson County wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, plating two runs in the bottom of the first inning. Kylie Moore ripped a double, scoring two runs to give her team the early lead. That was all the support Williams would need.

The Lady Generals continued to add to their lead throughout the game, finishing with a total of 10 hits. Moore led the way offensively, driving in three runs with her three hits. Lexi Brockman and Ella Sailee also chipped in with multiple hits for Jackson County.

With the win, Jackson County improves to 6-2 on the season. They will look to continue their winning ways when they travel to North Laurel for a Friday night matchup.

Knox Central, on the other hand, falls to 1-3 with the loss. The Lady Panthers will try to bounce back on March 26th when they host Barbourville for their next game.
