Lynn Camp Lady Wildcats roared out of the gate

Survive and advance the Lynn Camp Lady Wildcats got out to a seven-run lead in the sixth inning and held on to an 8-7 victory over Whitley County Lady Colonels. Lynn Camp opened the scoring in the top of the first with a single by Allison Messer. Lynn Camp went up 3-0 after a groundout by Lauren Partin in the second. In the fourth inning Lynn Camp went up 4-0 after Cambree Prewett singled in a run. Jorja Carnes earned the win for Lynn Camp; Kara Canada took the loss for Whitley County. Lynn Camp accumulated 17 hits, Leading the way Lauren Partin batted in three runs. Cambree Prewitt led the team with three hits. Emma Burnette, Lily Henize, Chelsea Hendrickson, Charity Steele, and Allison Messer all collected multiple hits. Adalee Johnson and Kara Canada each drove in two runs for Whitley County. Jayden Barton, Jadynn Johnson, and Kara Canada collected two hits each. Lynn Camp (4-1) plays Barbourville at home tomorrow night Whitley County travels to Clinton County Saturday
