Lynn Camp falls To 7-2

At the Cal Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge, the Lynn Camp Lady Cats' game with the Symmes Valley a team from Ohio, ended in a 7-1 defeat. The story of the game came from Symmes Valley's bats, particularly highlighted by three inside-the-park home runs that proved to be the decisive factor.

The first of these impressive homers was launched by Brenna Tibbs in the bottom of the first inning, driving in one run. Shortly after, Addy Hawk hit the second inside-the-park home run in the bottom of the second inning, bringing in three runs for Symmes Valley. Hawk struck again in the bottom of the fourth inning, delivering another inside-the-park home run and scoring two more crucial runs for her team.

Brenna Tibbs also played a pivotal role from the mound, securing the win for Symmes Valley. Tibbs allowed only three hits and one run while striking out an impressive 14 batters and issuing just two walks over seven innings of play.

Despite the tough loss, Lynn Camp's Allie Messer put forth a commendable effort, going 2-3 at the plate and contributing a run batted in for her team.

With this defeat, Lynn Camp's record moves to 7-2, but they'll have a chance to bounce back as they return to action tomorrow at the Cal Ripken Experience, scheduled for a 1:00 PM matchup.
