North Laurel Dominates Clay County with a Commanding 13-0 Victory North Laurel Jaguars delivered a resounding victory over Clay County, securing a commanding 13-0 win.

From the outset, North Laurel set the tone for the game, opening the scoring in the bottom of the first inning with a powerful hit from Bella Sizemore, who doubled to drive in a run and put the Jaguars ahead early. However, it was in the second inning that North Laurel truly asserted their dominance, as they exploded for an additional six runs to extend their lead.

The second inning saw a flurry of offensive firepower from the Jaguars. Bella Finley electrified the NL crowd with a towering home run to center field, while Saige McClure contributed with a sacrifice fly that brought in another run. Bella Sizemore continued her impressive showing with another double, driving in yet another run, before Ella Adams delivered a clutch single that brought in two more runs, further solidifying North Laurel's lead.

As if their offensive onslaught wasn't enough, North Laurel further cemented their lead in the third inning, capitalizing on an error and a double by Ellie Adams to put the game completely out of reach for Clay County.

On the defensive end, pitcher Emma Carl showcased her prowess on the mound, delivering a masterful performance that stifled Clay County's offense. Carl allowed just two hits over the course of five innings, while striking out five batters and issuing three walks.

With this impressive victory, North Laurel improves their record to 10-6 and sets their sights on their upcoming road game against Whitley tomorrow night.

Meanwhile, Clay County will regroup as they prepare to face Knox Central at home tomorrow.
