Lady Jaguars win big over Lincoln County 16-6

(London, KY) The North Laurel Lady Jaguars set to do battle with 12th Region opponent the Lincoln County Patriots at home this evening.

 

Lady Patriots got the scoring started in the first after an error scored one run.

 

North Laurel flipped the game in the bottom of the first inning when they scored 8 runs to take a 8-1. In the second inning they added one run off of a solo home run to center field by Ellie Adams.

 

Lincoln County scored five runs in the fourth by hits by Skylar Rutherford, Zenzie Shelton, Shelby Smith, and Halle Siler.

 

Lady Jaguars added seven more runs to get the victory.

 

In the game the North Laurel Lady Jaguars had 13 hits. They also had eight walks.

 

Up Next for the Lady Patriots, they will be back in action tomorrow evening (April 19) as they will host the Knox Central Lady Panthers, game-time is set for 6:30 PM
