
(London, KY) The Knox Central Panthers and the South Laurel Cardinals did battle in an old fashion 13th Region matchup.
The Cardinals opened up the scoring in the first inning after an error scored one run. Cardinals added to there lead in the third inning making there lead 2-0.
Panthers tied the game in the top of the fourth inning when an error and a sacrifice fly by John Davis tied the game at 2 a piece.
Knox Central took the lead in the Top of the fifth inning when Austin Bargo singled, scoring one run, to make the score 3-2.
South Laurel as able to tie the game at 3 when Vince Sizemore singled.
Creech hits a ground ball was able to reach on an error allowing Curry to score to give the Cardinals the win.
Keaton Smith earned the win for the Cardinals, he went four innings, allowing one hit and zero runs, striking out eight and walking none.
Waylon Hensley started on the mound for the Cardinals.
Austin Bargo look the loss for the Panthers, he went two and two thirds of a inning, allowing one hit one run on three hits, striking out two and walking one.
Casey Bright started on the mound for the Panthers.
