Eagles edge Green Dragons 4-1

(Hyden, KY) The Harlan Green Dragons hit to road to Hyden to take on the Leslie County Eagles on Thursday evening.

 

The Eagles got on the board first thanks to two singles. David Brock singled, scoring one run. That lead to a three spot in the opening inning.

 

Harlan got on the board in the third inning to be there only run of the evening. 

 

Leslie County extended their lead in the fifth inning to get the victory over the Green Dragons.

 

Luke Luttrell started on the mound for the Green Dragons, he went six innings, giving up five hits on four runs, striking out nine and walking two.

 

David Brock started on the round for the Eagles, he went four innings, allowing 3 hits, one run, striking out five and not walking a single batter.

 

Up Next for the Eagles, they will be back in action on Friday evening as they will travel to Williamsburg, KY to take on the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets, game-time is set for 6:00 PM
