Pleasure Ridge Park roll past LaRue County in opening round of the 2024 Clark's Pump-N-Shop Baseball State Tournament

(Lexington, KY) It's game number 3 of the 2024 Clark's Pump-N-Shop Baseball State Tournament, it will feature Champions out of the 6th Region the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers verses the champions out of the 5th Region the LaRue County Hawks.

The LaRue County Hawks got on the board first thanks to a RBI single by Hughes allows one run to score, then another RBI single allows another run to score making the score 2-0 LaRue County.

The Panthers got on the board in the top of the second inning thanks to Roll RBI triple allowed one run to score, making it 2-1 LaRue County. Then Panthers took the lead in the top of the third inning thanks to Bruner 3 run Home run to make the score 4-2 Panthers. A 2 RBI double by Roll extends the Panthers lead to 6-2. In the bottom of the seventh inning the Hawks trim the Panthers off of a line drive to left field allowing one run to score making it 11-3 Panthers. Then a Triple by Hughes allows another run to score making it 11-4 Panthers. The next batter Choe reaches on an error allowing another run to score making it 11-5 Panthers.
