The Pineville Lady Lions volleyball team showcased a dominant performance, sweeping the Middlesboro Lady Jackets in three straight sets to secure a 3-0 victory.
The Lady Lions set the tone early on, demonstrating their strength and teamwork. They took the first set with a commanding 25-10 win. The Lady Jackets put up a spirited fight, but Pineville's consistent serving and solid defense proved too much to handle. The Lady Lions took the second set with a score of 25-5. The Lady Lions took the third set with a score of 25-9.
Ava Arnett had 15 kills, 1 block, 8 digs and 5 aces. Kamryn Biliter had 1 kill, 20 assists, 5 digs and 7 aces. Addison Slone had 5 kills, 10 digs and 11 service aces. Brynlee Sizemore had 3 kills, 3 assist and 3 digs. Brooke Harris had 13 service aces and 4 digs. Jaycee Caldwell had 1 kill, 1 dig and 1 assist. Malayla Terrell had 6 service aces and 1 dig. Isabella Adams had 2 service aces. Audrey Yates had 1 kill, 1 assist and 1 service ace. Makayla Caldwell had 1 dig. Alyssa Obenshain had 1 assist and 1 dig.
Brynlee Sizemore said that she though that she thought that they played a great game and that the team is always cheering and hyping each other up.
Jaycee Caldwell said that she thought that they played very well and that they was coming into tonight's game with a lot of confidences.
