(Corbin, KY) On a very cold and wintery day and evening in southeast Kentucky. It's time for the 13th Region All "A" Classic Semi-finals being held at Lynn Camp High School.
Tonight's second semi-finals will feature the Barbourville Tigers verses the Lynn Camp Wildcats
Jared King a head starter for Barbourville Last Year. Played against his own school tonight. He made sure that he couldn't be forgotten. Jared King was a huge threat on the court tonight with his defense. His defense was one to be beat. From the records Jared King scored 9 points. Ethan Chafin was lead scorer with 11 points. Then Caleb Woods contributed with 5 points.
Barbourville was a touch team to beat tonight. With there defense on point and scoring efforts that were put out though the night.
Albert Moan with a showoff in the fourth. With two threes and 3 two points. Two of those two-point shots were led by back-to-back dunks.
It was a whole team contribution tonight from Barbourville and Lynn Camp. The teams showed their defense and shooting skills are on par with others in the 13th Region.
Barbourville eventually put the game out of reach in the second with a 42-19 lead. The final score resulting in a 71-31 win for the Tigers.
Barbourville will return to action tonight as they will play in the 13th Region All "A" Classic Championship game with a chance to make it to the All "A" State Tournament which is being played at the Owensboro SportsCenter in Owensboro, KY. Lynn Camp will be back in action on Friday as they will host the Jackson City Tigers, game-time is set for 7:30 PM
Barbourville will improve to 9-4 record on the season. Lynn Camp will fall to 2-13 record on the season
