(Stearns, KY) The Pineville Mountain Lions are on the road on Thursday Night as they travel to Stearns, KY to take on the McCreary Central Raiders
McCreary Central Raiders scored 13 runs in the fifth inning, which helped them defeat Pineville 19-1. Tristen West singled, scoring one run. Riley Newman drew a walk, scoring one run, and scoring one run on another play. Carter Gabbard doubled, scoring one run. Kaleb Ellis hit a sacrifice fly, and scoring one run. Joshua Weaver singled, scoring two runs. Riley Newman singled, scoring two runs, Kegan Musgrove singled, and scoring one run. Kaleb Ellis drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and one run scored on another play.

Caldwell took the loss for the Mountain Lions. The starting pitcher went four and two-thirds inning, surrendering 14 runs (four earned) on nine hits, striking out four and walking four. Ellis pitched one inning of no-run ball for the Raiders in relief. The lefty gave up zero hits, striking out three and walking none.
Raiders piled up 12 hits in the game. Gabbard, Weaver, and Noah Shook each collected two hits for McCreary Central. Spradlin, Newman, and Ellis each drove in two runs for the Raiders. Gabbard led McCreary Central with two walks. Overall, accumulating seven walks in the game.
Caldwell led the Mountain Lions with one run batted in. Johson went 1-2 at the plate to lead Pineville in hits. Caldwell stole two bases
McCreary Central will be back in action tomorrow night as they will host the Lynn Camp Wildcats game time is at 6:00 PM
