In a thrilling match at The Cal Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge, the Lynn Camp Lady Cats faced off against Mason County in a game that ultimately ended in heartbreak. Despite putting up a strong fight, Lynn Camp fell short, losing the lead late and suffering a 5-4 defeat.

The game saw several standout moments, including a pivotal play in the bottom of the sixth inning when Olivia Hughes grounded out, scoring a crucial run giving Mason County a 5-4 lead. Earlier in the match, Lauren Partin showcased her batting prowess with an inside-the-park home run, contributing to Lynn Camp's early 3-0 lead. Additionally, Charity Steele's single in the third inning added to the team's lead.

However, Mason County fought back, with Kenzie Gulley and Kylah Turner delivering hits in the fifth inning to tie the game. Despite a memorable performance at the plate by Lauren Partin, who went 2 for 3, Lynn Camp couldn't secure the victory.

Looking ahead, Lynn Camp (7-3) aims to bounce back and secure a win in their upcoming game against Elliot County.
