
In the second game of the day at the Cal Ripken Experience, Lynn Camp faced a tough challenge against Greenup County and unfortunately fell short, losing 8-0. Greenup County's pitcher, Josey Kegley, started on the mound, allowing only one hit and no runs over seven innings while striking out twelve batters and walking just one.
Greenup County's offense was also strong, ending the game with eleven hits. Skyler Lawrence was a standout performer, driving in four runs and going two for four at the plate. Chuck Grayson, Maddy Steele, and Laela Matthews also contributed with two hits each for Greenup County.
On the other hand, Lynn Camp struggled to generate offense, with Lily Henize managing just one hit in three at-bats.
Looking ahead, Lynn Camp will get back to work and regroup as they prepare to compete in the 13th Region All "A" Classic starting on April 8th, Lynn Camp will be aiming to continue their quest for a potential third consecutive championship in the tournament.
