Lady Redhounds were the first to get on the board in the first when Danni Foley singled, scoring one run.
Eagles took the lead in the top of the second. Jaylin McGregor grounded out, scoring two runs, to give Eastern the 2-1 lead.
Lady Redhounds took the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Kallie Housley doubled, Bailey Stewart into a fielder's choice, Kallie Housley scored after tagging up, each scoring one run.
Kaitlyn Chitwood singled, which helped the Eagles tie the game at four in the top of the sixth inning.
Danni Foley started in the circle for the Lady Redhounds, she gave up seven hits and five runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out seven and walking none. Emily Cobb started in the circle for the Eagles, she allowed five hits and four runs over two innings, striking out none and walking one.
Danni Foley provided the pop in the middle of the lineup for Corbin with two runs batted in and also went 1-2 on the day. The leadoff hitter Housley led the Lady Redhounds with 2 hits in four at bats. Morgan Hicks stole two bases. Corbin also turned one double play in the game.
Chitwood went 2-3 at the plate to lead the Eagles in hits.
