
(Hazard, KY) The Harlan Green Dragons made the trip up Hal Rodgers Parkway to take on the Hazard Bulldogs
Bulldogs got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Max Pelfry singled, and the Bulldogs scored on a wild pitch each scoring one run. A double by Trace Kincaid, a walk by Gaige Logan, and a sacrifice fly by Talon Goins helped extend their early lead in the second inning.
Aiden Johnson pitched four and two-thirds innings in relief for the Green Dragons. He allowed four hits and four runs (two earned) while, striking out one and walking two. Brody Owens stepped on the bump first for the Green Dragons, he allowed five hits and three runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking none. Tucker Napier led things off for the Bulldogs. He allowed two hits and one run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking three.
Owens and Jake Brewer each collected one hit for the Green Dragons.
Hazard collected nine hits in the game. Skyler Chaney, Kincaid, Logan, and Napier each collected two hits. Kincaid led the Bulldogs with three runs batted in, and he went 2-3 on the day.
Up Next for the Green Dragons they will take on the Barbourville Tigers either in Barbourville or at neutral site at Middlesboro High School. (This is still be determined on how Middlesboro field will be tomorrow)
