Corbin Falls To 4-7

In a tough matchup, the Corbin Lady Redhounds experienced a tough 14-4 loss against Paducah Tilghman on Thursday. Despite their best efforts, Corbin couldn't maintain their lead, with Paducah Tilghman ultimately emerging victorious.

Corbin showed promising signs early on, taking a 3-2 lead in the top of the second inning, fueled by singles from Kallie Housley and Bailey Stewart. Housley's impressive performance at the plate continued throughout the game, going 2-3 and leading the team with three runs scored. Additionally, both Housley and Raegan Hinkle contributed with two hits apiece, demonstrating Corbin's offensive potential.

With the loss, Corbin's record now stands at 4-7 as they look ahead to their next challenge. The team is set to face Logan County at Fort Walton Beach tomorrow as part of the Florida Softball Beach Bash. This will be Corbin's 5th game at this event
