Big second inning leads Logan County past the Lady Redhounds

(Fort Walton Beach, FL) In a thrilling matchup between two high school softball powerhouses, the Logan Coun ty Cougars secured a commanding victory over the Corbin Lady Redhounds, thanks to a monumental second inning that set the tone  for the game. Logan County got on the board in the first inning with a Trinity Case single scoring a run.

 

However, it was in the privotal second inning that the Logan County Cougars seized control of the game. Logan County scored seven runs on six hits in the top of the second inning.

 

The Lady Redhounds was led by Danni Foley, Morgan Hicks, and Kallie Housley each collected one hit. Kallie Housley stole two bases.

 

With this lose Corbin falls to 4-9 on the season, and looks to rebound with a big regional heavyweight battle with South Laurel on April 9th on the road.
