
In a tightly contested match, the Barbourville Tigers faced off against Perry County Central, but unfortunately came up short with a final score of 4-0.
The game kicked off with Perry County Central taking the lead early, capitalizing on a Barbourville error. Sheldon Ritchie managed to secure a walk, and Dylan Elkins tagged up and crossed home plate to put Perry County Central up.
Perry County Central added to their narrow lead, adding to their tally in the third inning. Nolan Wooton came through with a clutch single, driving in another run for his team and extending their lead.
Despite a valiant effort from the Barbourville Tigers. Luke Hillard, Colby Peters, and Connor West each managed to collect one hit for Barbourville, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough to turn the tide in their favor.
