In a hard-fought contest, Jackson County found themselves narrowly edged out by Breathitt County with a final score of 8-4.

Breathitt County seized the initiative in the bottom of the third inning. Olivia Clemons led the charge with a pivotal double, followed by Taylor Sword grounding out to bring in a crucial run.
