Corbin Back To Their Winning Ways

In a softball showdown, Corbin roared back to form with a resounding victory over Lynn Camp, ending with a decisive 12-1 win.

Lynn Camp struck first, capitalizing on an error to put a run on the board. However, that early lead was short-lived as Corbin swiftly turned the tide in their favor. Corbin rattled off an impressive 12 unanswered runs.

The turning point came in the bottom of the first inning when Raegan Walker smashed a double, bringing in two runs and propelling Corbin into the lead at 2-1. The momentum only continued to build for Corbin as they piled on the runs in the subsequent innings.

In the bottom of the second, Kallie Housley's double and Danni Foley's single contributed to another run, further solidifying Corbin's lead. By the bottom of the third inning, Corbin had firmly established their lead, putting the game out of reach for Lynn Camp. Abi Beller and Raegan Hinkle's singles added to the tally, with Housley delivering another clutch double to drive in two more runs.

On the mound, Danni Foley delivered a stellar performance, earning the victory for Corbin.

With this much-needed win, Corbin brings an end to their losing streak and looks to regain their momentum as they prepare to face Henry Clay at home tomorrow.
