(Richmond, KY) Lady Cardinals hit the road to Richmond to take on the Madison Southern Lady Eagles.
The Lady Eagles got on the board when Abby Cress singled, scoring one run in the process. Lady Cardinals answered in the fifth inning when Kenzie Williams singled, and then the Lady Eagles committed an error allowing both runs to score.
Kayley Goss took the loss for the Lady Eagles, she went seven innings, gave up six runs (5 of them was earned), giving up 9 hits, striking out 7, and walking 4.
Kenzie Williams pitched the complete game, giving up 5 hits, 1 run, that run was unearned, striking out 12, and only walking two batters.
