(Whitesburg, KY) The Harlan Lady Dragons today competed in the Mountain Strong Softball Classic which is being held at Letcher County Central High School in Whitesburg, KY. This Classic every year has had a lot of strong competing teams and this year is no different. Game one opponent for the day was the Belfry Lady Pirates.
The Lady Pirates got rolling in the first inning when they had runs by Alara Adkins, Bell Howard, and Alexia Blevins. In the bottom of the fifth inning the Lady Pirates added five runs thanks to Hall, and Molly Fahm (Hitting a grand slam to center field which contributed to four of the five runs).
Mallory McNiel started in the circle for the Lady Dragons. Molly Fahm started in the circle for the Lady Pirates.
In the game the Lady Pirates had 12 hits in the game.
