
(Hyden, KY) The Lynn Camp Lady Wildcats make the trip up to Hyden to play a double header with the Leslie County Lady Eagles.
Game 1
In game number one the Lady Eagles got on the board first after a error scored two runs. In the bottom of the third inning the Lady Eagles had extended there lead thanks to a RBI singles by both Peyton Turner and Emily Caldwell.
Jorja Carnes started in the circle for the Lady Cats. Emily Caldwell started in the circle for the Lady Eagles.
Both Charity Steele and Cambree Prewitt was both tough to handle each one drove in one run a piece for the Lady Cats. Lily Henize had two hits in three at bats.
Autumn Roberts led the Lady Eagles with two hits in three at bats. Emily Caldwell and Peyton Turner each one drove in one run. Autumn Roberts stole three bases for the Lady Eagles as well.
This two teams will be playing again in game number 2
Game 2
In game number 2 the Lynn Camp Lady Wildcats look to get started fast and looks to get out of Hyden with a win.
The Lady Wildcats opened up the scoring in the bottom of the first inning when Cambree singled, driving in two runs. They added to there lead when Chelsea Hendrickson hit into a fielders choice and Lauren Partin singled, each player drove in one run.
Allie Messer started in the circle for the Lady Wildcats, she surrendered seven hits and only three runs (While two of them was earned runs), over five innings of play, she struck out five and only walking one batter. Makayla Campbell started in the circle for the Lady Eagles.
Lauren Partin, Julie Moore, Chelsea Hendrickson, Charity Steele, Cambree Prewitt, Allie Messer, and Lily Henize each had one hit for the Lady Wildcats.
Haley Jones, Autumn Roberts, and Kaylee Caudill each had two hits for the Lady Eagles.
