Black Bears edges Commodores 8-6

(Baxter, KY) The Perry County Central Commodores took the trip down to Baxter, KY to take on the Harlan County Black Bears.

 

The Commodores got on the board first in the second inning when Noah Wooton singled, allowing two runs to score.

 

The Black Bears exploded in the bottom of the second inning, scoring five run. To give the Black Bears the 7-2 lead.

 

Alex Creech earned the win for the Harlan County Black Bears. He went seven inning, allowed nine hits on six runs, striking out five and only walking one.

 

Jayden Willis took the loss for the Perry County Central Commodores, he went two and one third of a innings, he gave up seven hits, seven runs, while striking out one and not walking a batter.

 

Up Next, for the Harlan County Black Bears, they will be back in action on Thursday as they will host the Pineville Mountain Lions, game-time is set for 6:00 PM
