(Russell Springs, KY) The Whitley County Colonels hit the road to Russell County to take on the Russell County Lakers
The Colonels got on the board first in the top of the first inning after Hunter Wilson doubled, and RJ Osborne grounded out allowing both to score one run.
Bradyn Bargo earned the win for the Whitley County Colonels, he gave up five hits and four runs (three earned) went six and one-third of a innings. He striked out two and walked three batters.
Trace Stringer took the loss for the Lakers, he went four innings, gave up four runs (two of them was earned) on eight hits, striking out one and walking one.
Trey Walton appeared in relief for the Lady Colonels.
The Colonels had accumulated 12 hits in the game.
