In a thrilling clash that had fans on the edge of their seats until the very last moment, Corbin emerged victorious with a nail-biting 7-6 win over Clay County, courtesy of a dramatic walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning.

The stage was set for an intense battle from the first pitch, and both teams delivered a display of high-caliber softball. Corbin wasted no time making their presence felt, with Kallie Housley setting the tone early by launching a solo home run in the first inning.

However, Clay County proved to be a formidable opponent, answering back with a strong offensive showing of their own to take a commanding lead in the middle innings. Despite facing a deficit, Corbin refused to back down, rallying together to mount a comeback in the crucial final inning.

Trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Corbin found themselves with their backs against the wall, but they refused to let the game slip away. With the pressure mounting, Morgan Hicks stepped up to the plate and delivered a moment of magic, crushing a grand slam to center field that secured the walk-off victory for Corbin in spectacular fashion.

Hicks' heroics was as good as it gets, but it was a true team effort that propelled Corbin to victory. Housley's stellar performance at the plate, collecting three hits in as many at-bats, including her early home run, provided crucial offensive support. Meanwhile, on the mound, Danni Foley turned in a gutsy performance, battling through adversity to earn the hard-fought victory for her team.
