McCracken County edges Ryle 4-1 to head to the semi-finals of the 2024 Clark's Pump-N-Shop Baseball State Tournament

(Lexington, KY) It's the second quarterfinals matchup of the 2024 Clark's Pump-N-Shop Baseball State Tournament. It will feature the McCracken County Mustangs verses the Ryle Raiders.

 

McCracken County won it's first game yesterday when they beat West Jessamine 3-2. Ryle won it's first game yesterday when they beat East Carter 4-2 in 8 innings.

 

Mustangs open the game up in the bottom of the first inning when they put a two spot on the board thanks to a Triple by Miller Green, to make the score 1-0 McCracken County. Then Eli James reaches on an error to make the score 2-0 McCracken County.

 

Ryle would get on the board in the top of the fourth inning thanks to a Solo Home Run by AJ Curry to trim the lead down to 2-1 Mustangs.

 

McCracken County would add two run in the bottom of the fifth inning thanks to a 2 RBI Single by Kendrick Dunning, to make the score 4-1 McCracken County

McCracken County will advance to the Semi-Finals of the 2024 Clark's Pump-N-Shop Baseball State Tournament, they will face either Owensboro Catholic Aces verses the Hopkinsville Tigers on June 14 at 1:30 PM at Kentucky Proud Park on the campus of the University of Kentucky.
