
(Fort Walton Beach, FL) It was game number 2 for the Jackson County Generals there opponent today was the Washington County Commanders.
Both teams were strong on the hill on Tuesday but the Commanders edged the Generals 3-0. Dustin Taylor started the game for the Commanders.
Washington County opened up the scoring in the top of the first inning thanks to a single by Beau Kaker.
Dustin Taylor earned the win for the commanders, he surrendered five hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking none. Clemms took the loss for the Generals, giving up three runs (one earned) on seven hits, striking out three and walking none.
Baker Blandford and Mattingly each drove in one runs for the Commanders.
Clemms, Sammus, Elam, Collett, and Lakes each collected one hit for the Generals.
