
(Myrtle Beach, SC) This is the final game of the Cal Ripken Experience for the South Laurel Cardinals as there opponent is the Victor Devils.
Victor gets on the bard in the first inning after Kessler singled, scoring one run.
The Devils committed an error, which helped the Cardinals tie the game at one in the bottom of the first inning.
In the top of the third inning, the Devils broke up the tie when an error scored one run. then a single by Ricigliano followed to extend the lead to 3-1.
Power earned the win the Devils, allowing three hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking five. Will Alsip took the loss for the Cardinals, he went seven innings, giving up seven runs (three earned) on 12 hits, striking out seven and walking one.
Waylon Hensley went 1-4 at the plate leading the team with one run batted in. Keaton Creech, Hensley, Noah Smith, Austin Byrd and Kunter Bundy each collected one hit for the Cardinals.
Victor collected 12 hits in the game. Riciglano went 2-3 in the game with 2 runs batted in. Kriegelstein led the Devils with three hits in four at bats. Schalberg and Elkovitch each collected multiple hits.
Up Next for the Cardinals they will be back at home on Monday as they will host 50th District Rival Corbin game time at 6:00 PM
