Archbishop Hoban got on the board in the second inning after Weigand singled, scoring two runs. A triple by Akers extended their lead to 3-0 in the bottom of the third inning. They scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Gerring singled, scoring one run. Akers doubled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, and an error scored one run.
Shultz earned the win for Archbishop Hoban she surrendered four hits and and one run (zero earned) over six innings striking out 10 and walking two. Kara Canada took the loss for the Lady Colonels, she went five and one-third innings, surrendering nine runs (four earned) on 10 hits, striking oujt three and walking three.
Hallie Huddleston, Jayden Barton, Caylee Singleton, and Ciara Pittman each collected one hit for the Lady Colonels. Singleton went 1-3 on the day, while having one run batted in.
Archbishop Hoban pilled up 12 hits in the game. Akers drove the middle of the lineup with three runs batted in and also going 2-3 on the day. Cerring, Seaglione, Akers, Schultz, and Peters each collected two hits for Archbishop Hoban.
