Will Alsip singled on an 0-2 count helped the Cardinals tie the game at one in the top of the third inning.
East Jessamine took the lead in the bottom of the third inning thanks to Ryan Dugger double, scoring one run at 2-1 lead to the Jaguars.
East Jessamine scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. Layne Carroll singled, scoring one run. Caleb Cadle singled, scoring one run. Will Harrison grounded out, scoring one run. Anthony Kidwell singled, scoring one run. Zeke Craft was hit by a pitch, driving in one run.
Will Harrison earned the win for the Jaguars. He allowed four hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking three. Austin Byrd took the loss for the Cardinals. He went three and one-third innings, giving up four runs (two earned) on three hits, while striking out one and walking five.
Will Alsip went 2-3 at the plate with one run batted in. The Cardinals had six walks for the game.
Carroll seized on the opportunity, leading the Jaguars with two runs vbatted in from the nine spot in the Jaguars line-up. He went 3-3 on the day. East Jessamine for the game had 10 walks. Zeke Craft and Brayden Mewhorter lead the team with tree free passed balls each.
