(Boonesville, KY) The Barbourville Tigers went on the road to take on the Owsley County Owls.
The Tigers scored nine runs in the first inning thanks to Luke Hillard double, Ty Clark single, Conor West double, Jaxon Collins single, Bradyn Sowders single, Noah Gray ground out, Luke Hillard double, and Tye Clark single. In the second inning the Tigers scored six runs.
Luke Hillard got the win for the Tigers, he allowed zero hits and zero runs, striking out five and walking none.
Hardy took the loss for the Owls, he allowed 15 runs (five earned), on 13 hits, striking out five and walking five.
The Tigers had 13 hits in the game. Hillard, Clark West, and Collins each had two hits for the Tigers. Both Clark and Peters drove in four runs. Clark and Collins both stole multiple bases.
