(Corbin, KY) It's game number 2 of the 13th Region Fast Pitch Tournament, it will feature the Champions out of the 50th District the Corbin Lady Redhounds and the runners-up out of the 51st District the Pineville Lady Lions.
Corbin was able to get on the board first in the bottom of the first inning thanks to Raegan Walker reaching on an error, allowing Mikelia Hoskins and Kallie Housley to score to make the score 2-0 Corbin. Then in the bottom of the second inning a triple by Kallie Housley allowed Abi Beller to score to make it 3-0 Corbin.
Pineville was able to tie the game up in the top of the third inning, thanks to a 3 run home run by Addison Slone to tie the game up at 3.
The game remained tied until the bottom of the fifth inning when a double by Raegan Walker allows Morgan Hicks to score to give Corbin the 4-3 lead.
Pineville continues to fight but falls short.

Danni Foley started in the circle for the Lady Redhounds, she went 7.0 innings, gave up 5 hits on 3 runs, 1 walk, and had 15 strikeouts.
Rachel Howard started in the circle for the Lady Lions, she went 6.0 innings, gave up 5 hits on 4 runs (1 earned), 2 walks, and 13 strikeouts.
The Corbin Lady Redhounds will advance to the semi-finals of the 13th Region Fast Pitch Tournament, will face the North Laurel Lady Jaguars at 7:00 PM at Lynn Camp High School. These two teams played last month on April 25 at Corbin. Corbin was able to come out with the 11-7 victory.
